A 32 Years old female patient name R.S  visited the clinic dated 15-10-2024  For a complaint of recurrent piles since 7 years. She got operated for same 3 years back but it again recurred with severe pricking pain and burning in anal region. This type of pain remained for hours after stool so that patient had to take pain killers to subside the pain. She has to strain for stool. She would feel better by local hot fomentation.

 

Family History :

Patient had a family history of piles. Her mother and younger sister were both suffering from piles.

 

Physical generals :

Patient was thirstless and she was feeling sleeplessness since 8 years.

 

Mental Assessment  :

On mental assessment, it was found that the patient was not emotionally well since her marriage that happened 9 years ago. It was a love marriage but soon after 1 year, she started experiencing disappointment in love, because of that she had lots of suppressed anger with silent grief.
