A 47 Years old female patient name B.T  visited the clinic dated 25-07-2024  For a complaint of kidney stone since 4-5 years. But since 7th july, she had sharp pain in her right flank associated with nausea.

Recent Ultrasound was done on 22-07-2024 stated that There were 8.2 mm calculus at right PV junction causing moderate back pressure changes.

 

Family History :

She had a family history of Diabetes.

 

Physical generals :

Her all physical generals like appetite, thirst, urine, motion and sleep were normal and moderate.

 

Mental Assessment  :

On mental assessment, it was found that the patient was expressive and talkative. She was bold and used to take her own decision. She was loud and fearless lady with optimistic way of leading life.

 

Treatment :

After taking her physical complaints & Mental assessment into consideration, Sulphur 200  single dose was prescribed and follow up was scheduled after 15 days.

1st Follow-up ( 03-08-24)

Patient rushed to the clinic with the complaint of pain in pubic region with difficulty and burning in urination.

Rx : she was again prescribed Sulphur 200 single dose and advised to drink plenty of water.

 

After 2 days :

We received a call from patient with a happy news that her stone has evacuated naturally through urethra and she is out of pain now. Patient sent us the picture of her 8mm calculus for our reference.

That made our day too…..

From this case study we can conclude that Homeopathy has the potential to treat surgical cases like Kidney stone if given at right time in right potency with right Homeopathic physician.
