A 39 Years old female patient name A.K consulted online on call For a complaint of Gallbladder stone since many months. She had severe abdominal pain radiating to back with nauseated feeling after every meal. She consulted many physicians and surgeons before coming to me & everyone suggested her surgery ( Cholecystectomy) to ease her pain. Ultimately after several months of suffering, the patient was referred to me by one of my patients whom I had treated for kidney stone.

By the time when I entered in the picture as her treating physician, patient’s suffering had became worse. The abdominal pain became worsen and nauseated feeling had been converted into severe vomiting after every meal. Patient was appearing very weak and exhausted on call. She could barely speak on call.

Recent Ultrasound done on 21ST November’24 stated that There were few around (3-4) calculi were present in Gallbladder among which largest was measuring 8.3mm.

Physical generals :

Patient’s appetite was poor. She was a thirstless patient. Sleep was disturbed due to physical complaints.

Mental Assessment  :

Even after in depth case taking, patient was unable to give any characteristic emotional ailment.

Treatment :

After taking her physical complaints & Mental assessment into consideration, Chelidonium 200  single dose was prescribed and follow up was scheduled after 1 month.

1st Follow-up ( 27-12-24)

We received a call from patient’s end and good news was awaiting for us. ( By God’s grace)

The patient’s abdominal pain had vanished within 15 days of ingesting a medicines. Patient was eating well and there was not a single episode of vomiting from the day she started taking the medicines. Her voice was filled with joy and gratitude. But there was much more which she was eager to let us know. She had reapeated the ultrasound on 26th December to know the progress…..

Ultrasound report done on 26-12-24, stated that Gall bladder stone size was reduced to 6.7mm.

 

Conclusion :

From this case study we can conclude that Homeopathy has the potential to treat surgical cases like gall bladder stone if given at right time in right potency with right Homeopathic physician.
